A woman from Ohio recently punched through a McDonald’s drive-thru window because she was furious that Chicken McNuggets weren’t available. Police in Toledo were called in to deal with 24-year-old Melodi Dushane, who was arrested for vandalism then released on bond – on the condition that she avoid the McNugget-free Mickey Ds that she trashed.
Police in New Hampshire said that a woman and man face prostitution charges after the man called police to say he had paid for sex, but the woman had then refused. The 22-year-old woman and 32-year-old man were charged and given a court date for the crime. Police in the city of Marlborough report that the man informed them that he had paid the woman and a third party $150 for carnal pleasures but she wouldn’t follow through. Police are still investigating the 3rd party.
The now jobless former president of Romania claims that negative energy caused him to lose an election. Mircea Geoana claims that aides of now president Traian Basescu subjected him to attacks of negative energy during a debate, which caused him to fare poorly. Geoana’s wife further claims that the attacks were so severe that her husband could not concentrate. Basescu narrowly won the election., which Geoana’s Social Democracy Party claimed was also marred by fraud.
A California woman discovered the worst way to obtain a job – by robbing her potential employer at gunpoint. Christine Drummond confessed to robbing $16,500 from Premier Cash Advance, a loan-granting business where she had earlier applied for a job. Drummond and her boyfriend told police they needed cash to get to spend Christmas with their children. Employees at the business recognized Drummond from her job interview. Police were able to track her down and arrest her since her home address was on her job application.
